The diplomas in Occupational Therapy from RU "Angel Kanchev" are already available recognized worldwide!
Assoc. Prof. Lilia Todorova, PhD and Ch. Assistant Professor Petya Mincheva, PhD participated in June 2014 in the Delegate Assembly of the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT), Chiba, Japan (9-14.2014) and in the 16th World Congress of Occupational Therapists, Yokohama, Japan (June 18–21, 2014).
In February 2014, the University of Ruse, together with the Association of Bulgarian Occupational Therapists, submitted documents for accreditation of the Bachelor's program in Occupational Therapy by the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT). At the delegate meeting on 10.06.2014 in Japan, the positive accreditation of the specialty according to international standards was announced. This makes the graduates' diplomas valid worldwide. The certificate from the World Federation is accompanied by a letter to the academic management.
