MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
A universal and established
degree programme in the professional field of Machinery and Technologies. It
provides a wide range and profound engineering training in the field of design,
production and maintenance of machine tools, metal working, woodworking,
agricultural, road construction, textile, energy and transport machinery, as
well as machinery and equipment for the chemical and food industries, packaging
and home appliances, etc. The study process has been developed and held after
methods used by leading European universities. The study process has been
organised on the basis of methods utilised by leading European universities.
Additional training in the field of management allows the professional
realization of the alumni as managers and organisers of industrial production,
capable of making decisions developing business plans, as well as formulating
management strategies.
The graduates are awarded the Bachelor degree of Mechanical
Engineer.
MECHANICAL ENGINEERING AND MECHATRONICS A new interdisciplinary major, combining knowledge and skills from the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics and computer technology. In it, students prepare to design, construct, manufacture, test and maintain machines, devices and systems of a new generation in practically all areas of the industry - mechanical engineering, device engineering, automotive engineering, household and office equipment, medical equipment. The training is based on the use of modern CAD/CAM/CAE systems and enables rapid adaptation to the requirements of the engineering personnel market in one of two main directions:
- General Mechatronic Systems;
-Fine-mechanical Mechatronic Systems.
Graduates of the specialty acquire a Bachelor's degree with the professional qualification "Mechanical Engineer".
Materials Science and Technology
A classical and at the same time modern specialty, providing fundamental and specialized training in the field of materials and technologies for their production and processing. The educational process takes place in teaching and research laboratories with a modern material base, in some respects unique not only for the country, but also on a European scale. The specialty allows multi-purpose implementation and adaptation to the market requirements of engineers as experts in analysis, selection, evaluation and processing of materials in companies, laboratories and government organizations. Opportunities are also provided for enhanced language and computer training, as well as for a free choice of specialized disciplines.
Graduates of the specialty acquire a Bachelor's degree with the professional qualification "Technological Engineer".
Those who have acquired the educational-qualification degree "Bachelor" in these specialties can continue their studies in master's programs to acquire the degree "Master Engineer".
QUALITY MANAGEMENT AND METROLOGY
The specialty was created under the European project EuroQLIO together with the University "Henri Poincaré" in Nancy, France and the Polytechnic Bucharest, Romania. It is the result of modern world trends in the field of production and supply of goods and services and includes modern forms and technologies of training Provides an opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills in management and quality control, metrology and metrological assurance, industrial logistics, information technologies in metrology and quality, general engineering training, professional and business English, personnel management, business communications, etc. An essential part of training in the specialty is practical training, including practices and internships in companies and development of an individual professional project. After the first year, students have the opportunity to participate in an exchange program under the Erasmus program at partner universities and carry out an internship in French and Romanian companies.
Graduates of the specialty acquire a Bachelor's degree with the Professional Qualification "Quality Management Engineer".
INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING
The specialty was created under an European project in cooperation with Nottingham Trent University - England. It is a wide-ranging technological specialty with opportunities for implementation in many areas of modern industry. Students receive fundamental, general technical and specialized training with a practical orientation in the field of industrial technologies and machines, the design and management of the main technological processes, production equipment and equipment. The training also includes modern computer methods, company management, quality management and metrology, marketing, methods and tools for processing information flows. Graduates of the specialty acquire a Bachelor's degree with the Professional Qualification "Industrial Engineer".
