1. Organization and participation in conferences:
- Scientific conference of the University of Ruse and the Union of Scientists - Ruse (annually), sections: Linguistics, Literary Studies, Art Studies;
- Arnaud readings, which are held every two years with the participation of scientists from Bulgaria and abroad;
- Student-PhD scientific session, in which students from the BLH, PPSP, PSPFL and Social pedagogy majors participate annually.
2. Organization of round tables on current problems of linguistics and literary studies:
- "The strength of the spirit": Albert Gechev and Stefan Gechev in the Bulgarian literary and cultural space";
- A round table dedicated to the writer Zmey Goryanin;
- Round table "Methodological problems of writing the history of literature with Ruse";
- Round table "Memory for the Poet", dedicated to the poet and ethnologist Veselin Tachev;
- Round table "The Light of Revival", dedicated to the anniversaries of revivalists and the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Municipal Committee "Vasil Levski";
- Round table "Problems of modern Bulgarian spelling and legal speech" (with commentary on the Official Spelling Dictionary of the Bulgarian Language, Sofia, 2013);
- A round table with the participation of Prof. R. Stoyanov on the topic: "The development of the Bulgarian language and the teaching of the Bulgarian language" (05.2016);

- The book by Prof. R. Rusev, PhD "Word - a way of life";
- The book of Ch. Assistant Professor M. Dushkova, PhD "Semper Idem: Konstantin Konstantinov. Poetics of Late Narratives'.

4. Compilation and review of collections and books - over 35.
The book "50 years of the Department of Bulgarian language, literature and art - traditions, scientific research, achievements" was written by the members of the department and published with the funds of the Scientific Research Institute at the University of Ruse in 2017. The editors and compilers of the collection are Assoc. Pof. Yana Pometkova, PhD and Prof. E Nedkova, PhD.
For the first time at the University of Ruse, in honor of a colleague's anniversary, a collection of scientific articles was published, which in October 2016 was officially presented by the department to the entire academic community and the Ruse public - this is the book "The Bulgarian language and us. A collection of articles in honor of the 65th anniversary of Assoc. Prof. Rusi Rusev, PhD. Compilers of the collection are Assoc. Prof. E. Nedkova, PhD and Assoc. Prof. Ya. Pometkova, PhD, heads of the scientific project at the National Institute of Scientific Research, from whose funds its publication was financed.
