The University Union Association at the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev' is an association of voluntarily united trade union organizations.
The University Union Association is completely independent from the political parties, unions and other state and public structures and operates within the framework of the Constitution, the laws of the country and its Statute.
The association defines itself as an organization for carrying out activities for a private benefit.
The registered office of the association is in Ruse, Studentska Street No. 8, University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev".
The main social and labor rights that the University Union Association represents and defends are:
1. The right of work and a professional realization;
2. The right to negotiate the wage;
3. The right of social security and social assistant;
4. The right of safe and healthy conditions of work;
5. The right of professional and social association;
6. The right to labor protection, including social protection for mothers and pregnant women;
7.The right of information about the management of the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev";
8. The right of increasing the qualification and the requalification;
9. The right of defense under the current laws.
The means to achieve the goals of the trade union are: dialogue, negotiation, agreement, control, sanctions, including the search for legal responsibility, strike.
The University Union Association at the University of Ruse is a member of National Branch Union "Higher Education and Science" and KNSB.
